On August 29, 2016, the FAA established new rules regarding the use of drones for commercial purposes. In addition to the already existing requirement that the sUAS be registered with the FAA, the new rules require that a certified remote pilot in command oversee the flight activity.
The use of a sUAS for any related utility inspection, agriculture inspections or real estate purpose is considered commercial and therefore subject to these rules.

Our pilots are Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified to conduct sUAS operations in the National Airspace System (NAS) in accordance with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 107.
Our fleet of drones are all FAA registered and clearly tagged.
We also maintain the required North Carolina sUAS Permit on file.
